About Pastebin
Pastebin is a free, browser-based clipboard tool. Type or paste any text, attach images by dropping them or picking from your device, and click Copy Link to get a shareable URL that encodes all your content. Anyone with the link can see the paste — no sign-up, no server, nothing uploaded. The content lives entirely in the URL.
How to use Pastebin
- Type or paste your text into the editor.
- Optionally add images — drop them, click Add Image, or paste directly from your clipboard.
- Click Copy Link to copy a shareable URL to your clipboard.
- Share the URL — anyone who opens it sees your text and images instantly.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this pastebin free?
- Yes. Pastebin is completely free with no sign-up and no usage limits.
- Is my content private?
- The content is encoded in the URL itself, so only people you share the link with can see it. Nothing is uploaded to a server — it lives entirely in the URL.
- Can I share images?
- Yes. Images are base64-encoded and embedded in the shareable URL alongside the text. For very large images the URL becomes long, so keep images reasonably sized.
- Does it work offline?
- Once the page has loaded it runs entirely client-side, so it keeps working without a connection.
- How do I add an image?
- Click Add Image to pick a file, drag and drop an image onto the drop zone, or paste an image directly from your clipboard into the text area.
- Can I edit a paste someone shared with me?
- Yes. Click New Paste to start a fresh, editable paste. Your changes are not sent back to the original sharer — they create a new URL when you copy the link.
