About Pastebin

Pastebin is a free, browser-based clipboard tool with two ways to share. Type or paste any text, attach images by dropping them or picking from your device, and click Copy Link to get a shareable URL that encodes all your content — no sign-up, no server, nothing uploaded; the content lives entirely in the URL. Or sign in to save pastes privately to your account, where each edit is kept as a version you can restore, and any paste can be published to a stable short link (hafiz.in/p/…) that you can revoke at any time.

How to use Pastebin

  1. Type or paste your text into the editor, and add images by dropping them, clicking Add Image, or pasting from your clipboard.
  2. To share instantly with no account, click Copy Link — the URL encodes all your content and nothing is uploaded.
  3. Or sign in and click Save to account to keep the paste privately in your library, editable across devices.
  4. Every save keeps a version — open History to restore an earlier one.
  5. Click Publish on a saved paste to get a stable short link anyone can open; Unpublish revokes it instantly.

Frequently asked questions

Is this pastebin free?
Yes. It's completely free. The instant Copy Link sharing needs no sign-up, and creating an account to save private pastes is free too.
Is my content private?
It depends how you share. A Copy Link URL encodes the content in the link itself and is not uploaded — anyone with that link can read it. Pastes you Save to your account are private to you, and only become readable by others if you choose to Publish them.
What does Publish do?
Publishing a saved paste mints a stable short link (hafiz.in/p/…) that anyone can open. You can Unpublish at any time, which revokes the link immediately — visitors then get a 'not found' page.
Can I edit a paste and keep older versions?
Yes. Sign in, save the paste, and each save records a new version. Open History to browse recent versions and restore any of them — restoring is non-destructive and simply adds a new version.
Can I share images?
Yes. Images are base64-encoded — embedded in the URL for the Copy Link flow, or stored with the paste when you save to your account. Saved pastes cap total size (~360 KB), so keep images reasonably sized.
Do I need an account?
No. The instant Copy Link sharing works with no account. An account only adds private saved pastes, version history, and publishable short links.
Does it work offline?
The instant Copy Link sharing runs entirely in your browser and keeps working without a connection. Saving, publishing, and loading account pastes need a connection, since they talk to your account.
